Nintendo and Thunderful have announced that SteamWorld Heist II will release for the Nintendo Switch on August 8. The game will also be available on PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
SteamWorld Heist initially released in 2015 for the Nintendo 3DS. The game was later ported to the Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Nintendo Switch. It’s a 2D turn-based tactics based shooter where players take control of a pirate/smuggler who hijacks and steals from enemy spaceships.

During the recent Indie World Showcase, Nintendo and Thunderful Games announced the next installment in the SteamWorld franchise: SteamWorld Heist II. The game will release on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on August 8.
