Nintendo has announced that their next Indie World showcase will air on their official YouTube and Twitch accounts on April 17. The event will begin at 7 AM PDT and last for approximately twenty minutes.
Prior Indie World showcases have focused on major indie games such as Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Oxenfree II, Cult of the Lamb, and more. At the time of writing, Nintendo have not revealed what games will be present during the upcoming showcase.
Nintendo Indie World Showcase Set for Tomorrow, April 17, at 7 AM PDT
In a recent post from Nintendo’s official Twitter/X account, they confirmed that the next Indie World Showcase will air tomorrow on April 17. The showcase will begin at 7 AM PDT and last for approximately twenty minutes. Further, the account describes the upcoming event as follows: “Tune in tomorrow, 4/17 at 7am PT for roughly 20 minutes of announcements and updates on indie games headed to the Nintendo Switch in 2024.”
At the time of writing, the exact games that will be shown during the event are unknown. However, as was the case during the last couple of Indie World Showcases, people are speculating that Hollow Knight: Silksong will finally get a new trailer. Over the last few weeks, the game has been rated in both Korea and Australia. Only time will tell if the game will at last get its long awaited release date announcement.
