    Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Mask of Darkness DLC Now Available

    Ubisoft has officially released the story DLC for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, titled “Mask of Darkness.” The DLC is available now for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC for $4.99. It includes new story content, levels, new costumes, and more. The press release describes the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown DLC, “Mask of Darkness,” as follows:

    Sargon is being hunted by one the assassination specialist of the Immortals, Radjen. When he finally faces her, he gets trapped in her Mind Palace, a corrupted dimension of dark magic filled with dreamlike landscapes and otherworldly creations. Target of a deadly manhunt and with his soul on the line, Sargon must fight his way out of nightmarish environments and epic battles to uncover the secrets that lie behind the Mask of Darkness, buried deep within Radjen’s mind.

    In this new story, players will discover four surprising and surreal new biomes with more than ten new types of traversal obstacles, including deadly traps and merciless mechanisms that range from lasers to teleportation portals. In between platforming sequences, they will face six otherworldly new enemy archetypes, as well as three epic Bosses – along with new combat abilities to overcome them granted by three new Amulets.

    Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is the first new entry in the series in over fifteen years. The game returns the series to its 2D roots. It also shares a lot of similarities to the Metroidvania genre. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown went gold and released on January 18. The game supports 60 FPS on all platforms, including Nintendo Switch in both docked and handheld modes. Check out our review of the game here.
