Astrolabe Games and Space Colony Studios announced sci-fi visual novel Stories From Sol: The Gun-Dog will launch on February 20, 2025 worldwide for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Alongside the release date announcement, Astrolabe Games confirmed Stories From Sol: The Gun-Dog will feature a vivid Full-Color Mode.
A free update to the Stories From Sol: The Gun-Dog demo will let players see the new Full-Color Mode for themselves starting September 5 for the PlayStation 5 version. The Full-Color Mode update will come to the Nintendo Switch demo on September 19. The PlayStation 4 demo will get the update at a later date.
The Stories From Sol The Gun-Dog demo is now available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. As previously discussed, the demo lets players may complete the initial boarding procedure and meet crew members for the first time.
After completing the demo, players are encourage to participate in a survey to provide important feedback. Those who complete the demo and submit their survey will earn the exclusive “Jukebox” feature at launch. This feature allows players to enjoy their to favorite tracks at anytime during the Stories From Sol The Gun-Dog playthrough.
Publisher partners PM Studios Inc and Meridiem Games will release the Stories From Sol: The Gun-Dog physical edition in North America and Europe respectively. The game will support English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, Spanish, and German language options as well.
