SEGA announced a revamp of the monthly PSO2 Day event for free-to-play online action RPG Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, along with a collaboration with the Kaiju No. 8 anime.
Starting September 21, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will get a revamp of its PSO2 Day event. Going forward, players will receive more boosts and gifts from the 1st to 3rd and the 21st to 23rd of each month. EXP earned will increase by 50% and rare drop rates will increase by 100%. Moreover, all players will receive 50 SG, two Special Scratch Tickets, 1 Material Storage Use (5 days), and 2 N-Color-Change Passes. Premium users can receive even more boosts and gifts, and there will be deals and AC Scratch Tickets.
Various updates will launch throughout September, with today’s update bringing Rank 2 comes to the High-difficulty Quest: Major Target Suppression Mission: Planetcrush Blitz. The new Limited-time Quest: Zenith Firefight will arrive with the September 10 update, with a more difficult version, Polaris Firefight, arriving at a later date. On September 24, the new Limited-time Quest called Drill: Unidentified Region X2048 will become available. Participate in these events to earn new rewards.
The Kaiju No. 8 Style AC Scratch Ticket will arrive on September 18 in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. Players may earn avatar items, voice tickets, weapon camos, and more based on Reno Ichikawa, Kikoru Shinomiya, Mina Ashiro, and Soshiro Hoshina from Kaiju No. 8. The Scratch Count Bonus is a full-body suit that transforms you into Kaiju No. 8 itself.
