The release date for Dragon Ball Daima is on October 11, the same day as Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO‘s. The anime will have a new episode every Friday at 10:40 a.m. EST. Moreover, the first episode broadcast will be expanded by 10 minutes.

On October 6, there will be a Dragon Ball Daimatsuri event that will have an advance screening for Dragon Ball Daima episode 1. The first episode of Dragon Ball Daima will be shown during the advance screening event at 10:00 a.m., 2:15 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. JST. The Dragon Ball Daimatsuri event will also feature demo booths for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle, Dragon Ball Legends, and the digital card game Dragon Ball Super Divers. For those in Tokyo, this is a great opportunity to try out the new Budokai Tenkaichi title.
In Japan, Ichiban Kuji will feature new prize figures of Shenron and a battle between Goku and Vegeta are coming soon. With the purchase of a Ichiban Kuji ticket (790 yen, tax included), fans will have the opportunity to win one of these Dragon Ball Daima figures from participating store locations in Japan.
Dragon Ball Daima is the last major anime work that Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama was involved in before his untimely passing. Goku, Vegeta, Supreme Kai, and the rest of the iconic crew are turned into children, prompting them to embark on a new adventure. The new anime will air on Fuji TV, just like the original Dragon Ball anime 40 years ago.
