During Gamescom 2024 and the Opening Night Live showcase, SEGA and ATLUS announced the Persona 3 Reload Expansion Pass Wave 3: Episode Aigis -The Answer- DLC will feature a challenge battle that puts S.E.E.S up against Joker from Persona 5 / Persona 5 Royal.

Wholly unique to Persona 3 Reload’s Episode Aigis, the encounter with the masked boy presents a hardcore challenge for players via a secret boss fight, replete with striking themes from Persona 5 Royal. The confrontation is one part of the larger Episode Aigis -The Answer- content expansion, a major post-ending DLC that further develops the story of Persona 3 Reload and serves as a story epilogue.
The Episode Aigis -The Answer- DLC will tell the story of the events that happened after Persona 3 Reload. As Aigis (VA: Dawn Bennett), players must discover why S.E.E.S is trapped on the date of March 31 by going through the Abyss of Time. Metis (VA: Lizzie Freeman), will join S.E.E.S on this journey, as shown in “The Devoted Sister” trailer. Metis’ Persona is Psyche, specializing in Physical, Wind, and Ice skills.
This time, Aigis holds the power of the wild card, allowing her to use multiple Personas like the original protagonist once did. Players can expect new Theurgy skills, field actions, Linked Episodes, and more. The Persona Compendium from the base game may also be transferred over to the expansion, allowing players to use their favorite Personas. The transfer is unavailable on Heartless difficulty, however.
Moreover, the Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis -The Answer- Original Soundtrack releases on September 10 alongside the new DLC expansion. This OST includes the bonus tracks Kimi no Kioku -Living With Determination Arrangement- and P3fes -Reload-. Furthermore, the soundtrack will be released physically on September 30.
Lastly, Persona 3 Reload is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
