Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising revealed the patch notes for update 1.50 on the game’s official website. This patch is GBVSR‘s biggest update yet, containing significant buffs and nerfs to characters. Here are some of the new content players can expect in the new patch:
- New stage
- Versusia DLC Character
- New story episodes
- Balance adjustments for entire roster
- Grand Master Rank (Rank that is above Master Rank)
- New online lobby mini-game
- New Grand Bruise! game mode
- New Battle Pass
The new story episode for Story Mode Part 3, “When Tomorrow Comes”. Versusia, Rein, Gran, and Djeeta will engage in a final battle, closing off the game’s story in an epic finale. Additionally, patch 1.50 introduces a lobby connection check feature as well as a disconnect penalty that will punish people for disconnecting while in matches.

Version 1.60 will arrive in October 2024 with a number of tweaks to Ranked Matches. Further adjustments and improvements are also planned for future updates, so stay tuned.
Moreover, Vikala will be released in October 2024, and Sandalphon will be the first character to start Character Season Pass 2.
Lastly, Cygames announced the beginning of Arc World Tour 2024. This World Tour is happening for both online and offline GBVSR tournaments. Moreover, many tournaments will take place for this World Tour compared to the Arc World Tour 2023.
