Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 Anime Airing in 2025

Toho Animation has released a teaser trailer confirming that Kaiju No. 8 season 2 will air in 2025. The first season is available on Crunchyroll.

The Kaiju No. 8 manga by Naoya Matsumoto entered serialization in Manga Plus in 2020, and it’s still ongoing with a cult following backing its success. Ahead of Jump Festa 2024, the anime’s staff revealed a new key visual for Kaiju No. 8, with the promise of more information on the horizon. In February, they also revealed the series’ April release date. A mobile game is also in development.

Kaiju No. 8 Confirms Season 2, New Trailer Released

Toho Animation has released a new teaser trailer for Kaiju No. 8. The trailer confirms that the anime’s second season will air in 2025. It showcases some of the new season’s major villains, as well as the action scenes that the series has been known for thus far. Based on a previous announcement, Kōki Uchiyama join the series as Gen Harumi. Check out the new teaser below:

In a world plagued by creatures known as Kaiju, Kafka Hibino aspired to enlist in The Defense Force. He makes a promise to enlist with his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro. Soon, life takes them in separate ways. While employed cleaning up after Kaiju battles, Kafka meets Reno Ichikawa. Reno’s determination to join The Defense Force reawakens Kafka’s promise to join Mina and protect humanity.

Kaiju No. 8 is available to watch on Crunchyroll. Season 2 will release at some point in 2025. The anime’s staff will confirm more details in the coming months.
