Today, Kadokawa and Aniplex have revealed a new anime adaptation of Secrets of the Silent Witch. This project will feature Saya Aizawa as Monica Everett, the main character in the series. Aizawa is best known for her roles as Kisara in Engage Kiss, Hiromi in Eternity Memories, and Norn in Moshoku Tensei.
Take a look at the new cast comment from Saya Aizawa below:
At this time, no information regarding release format, release date, or studio confirmation was revealed. It’s likely that as we continue to head closer to 2025, Aniplex may reveal more information in the form of a new trailer.
Yen Press describes the first volume as the following:
Monica Everett, the Silent Witch, is the only mage in the world who can use unchanted magecraft, a true hero who singlehandedly defeated a legendary black dragon. However, this young genius is actually…super-duper shy! That’s right: She learned to cast spells silently just to avoid speaking in public, and despite her power, she has zero self-confidence. Now Monica has been tasked with secretly guarding the second prince. Can she keep it together as she faces both the evil forces targeting the prince and the terrors of social interaction?

Alongside this announcement, Kadokawa and Aniplex also confirmed Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus, the highly anticipated sequel for the Rascal Does Not Dream series. This project will premiere as a TV anime, acting as the first season since the original anime premiered.
