Capcom and Niantic announced that Monster Hunter Now is teaming up with MrBeast for a new collaboration event starting July 27. The event will bring an exclusive
weapon, outfit, and a special quest line inspired by MrBeast himself.
Alongside the MrBeast collaboration, a new Monster Hunter Now will introduce the Dimensional Link feature. This feature allows players to enjoy playing the game with others around the world.
Moreover, the Driftsmelting & Monster Subspecies Event will be held from July 29 to August 4. During the event, certain monster subspecies will appear more frequently on the field. Players who slay these monsters will receive limited-time driftstones, which grant skills.
“Monster Hunter Now is super fun and also encourages people to go outside, explore, and get active,” said Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast. “Working with Niantic on my very own Monster Hunter Now quest line has been fantastic. I love that they partner with creators and trust them to know how to reach their audience.”
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Jimmy and the MrBeast team to bring a unique quest line and MrBeast content to Monster Hunter Now. We’re constantly looking to bring exciting and fresh content to the game, and this collaboration is something that appeals both to veteran players and new players alike,” said Niantic senior director of product marketing Archit Bhargava. “With more than 15 million downloads globally, we know our community is enjoying hunting monsters on the go. Now it will be even easier to get outside and hunt together with players from around the world.”
