Dragami Games president Yoshimi Yasuda confirms that the company is aware of fan demands for a PS4 version of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. The company wants to meet the requests of fans, and an announcement will be made at a later date.
“Since the official announcement of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, we have received many requests from game users asking for it to be released on PS4,” said Yasuda on Twitter. “We want to meet the requests of game users. Please wait for an announcement as soon as the schedule is finalized.”
The Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP physical edition will be sold for $49.99 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in the Limited Run Games Store. Pre-orders will open on July 26 at 10:00 a.m. EDT and close on August 25 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. The estimated shipping date for the physical edition is set between December 1 and December 31 this year.
The upcoming title will feature a “RePOP” mode with a distinct and colorful pop art style for damage effects. Players may also choose to keep the game in Original Mode with its normal damage effects. The remaster also has shorter load times, auto-QTE options, various gameplay improvements, and a new streamer mode.
Players may choose between the original English voices or Japanese voices in Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. In addition, there will be a new Japanese voice actress for Juliet. The in-game model for Juliet has not changed in the remaster.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP launches on September 25 for $49.99 digitally on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
