SNK revealed that Vice and Mature are the upcoming special DLC characters for The King of Fighters XV on their official X/Twitter account. Both characters will release simultaneously in December 2024. SNK did not reveal a trailer, but stay tuned for future updates!
The King of Fighters XV – Vice and Mature Have Returned!
King of Fighters XV is the latest installment in the iconic King of Fighters series, developed and published by SNK. Launched in 2022, KOFXV continues the series’ tradition of 3-on-3 team-based fighting gameplay, allowing players to select a team of three characters to compete in matches. The game features a robust roster of fighters, combining classic characters beloved by fans with new faces. It also has various game modes, including story mode, training, and an online mode with rollback netcode and cross-play.
SNK is currently developing Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, the next major installment in the long-running Fatal Fury / GAROU series of fighting games. The game will be released worldwide in early 2025, along with the beginning of SWC 2025. Lastly, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be playable at EVO Japan 2024, along with the new Hunter x Hunter 2D fighting game. SNK fans attending EVO Japan 2024 can expect to play the new Fatal Fury game while watching the King of Fighters XV tournament at the event.
The King of Fighters XV is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Additionally, EVO 2024 has started today. Stay tuned for more fighting game news coming up at the event here at Final Weapon.
