Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 is a small yet crazy chapter. It starts off slow, with Boruto and Sarada defending the Shinobi from the Sasuke Shinju Clone and Claw Grimes. It then leads to a surprising turn of events that you wouldn’t have seen coming. So, what’s going on with this chapter? What Happened in Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 12?
The chapter starts off with Boruto putting Himawari down to tell Konohamaru to keep her safe. Of course, Konohamaru is understandably confused as to why Boruto is trying to command everyone. However, Sarada brings up that the Sasuke Shinju Clone trying to devour her could be related to how Sasuke became a tree. Everyone becomes confused, but Boruto prompts them to stay focused and beware of any Claw Grimes. They begin the battle, but it gets to a point where Boruto has to use Rasengan Uzuhiko because the Sasuke Shinju Clone keeps healing. He eventually gets to land it on the clone, but they all realize that it only attacked half of the clone’s body. Boruto quickly tries to rush toward the Sasuke Shinju Clone to stop him from escaping, but a familiar figure takes down the clone instead.
Kawaki appears and finishes off the Clone, only to see a weird-looking fruit form from its corpse. Boruto quickly grabs it and has a conversation with Kashin Koji about it via the Toad. Apparently, this fruit is called a Thorn Soul Bulb, and it’s the key to saving Sasuke from the tree. It seems that destroying the Shinju Clone of someone who has become a tree will produce these Bulbs. However, before Boruto can even walk away with it, a fast projectile pierces him through his chest.
It turns out Jura is sniping everyone from afar with his tailed beast shots at the destination he was at when he was fighting against Himawari. This is probably the craziest part of the chapter, and it’s so dangerous because right when Sarada tries to grab the Bulb, he shoots her arm. The Thorn Soul Bulb goes straight into Jura’s arms, and he gives off a concerned look. He is shocked to learn that Boruto has knowledge about the Thorn Soul Bulbs, so he declares that his current goal is to kill him. With an injured Boruto and Sarada, everyone surrounds them, including Kawaki. What happens next for Boruto’s future? What is Boruto’s new plan after this one failed? Find out next time!
