Tiny Wonder Studio, a new development studio featuring developers from the Chibi-Robo franchise, have revealed a new game titled KoROBO. The game will be available to fund through Kickstarter and Campfire soon. Additionally, the developers are aiming for a release on both PC and modern consoles.
Skip and Nintendo initially released the first Chibi-Robo on the Gamecube in 2005. The game would receive a few spin-offs like Park Patrol and Zip-Lash in the years to follow. Since 2015, the series has been relegated to cameo appearances in games like Super Smash Bros. KoROBO will mark the series’ first ever spiritual successor.

koROBO is an action adventure game follows the story of a pint-sized robot named “koROBO” and his owner, Tom, a young boy who receives koROBO as a gift from his father on his 10th birthday. Players step into the tiny but mighty shoes of koROBO, embarking on a thrilling and heartfelt journey that starts in Tom’s room and unfolds into a world-changing adventure.
