MOSS has announced a new twin-stick shoot-em-up game titled Raiden NOVA, which will release in Japan on October 31. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
The game’s special edition, priced at 8,300 yen, includes an original soundtrack CD supervised by Raiden series composer Go Sato, acrylic block (Raiden-themed for Switch, Raiden II-themed for PlayStation 4, and Raiden DX-themed for PlayStation 5), a reversible box art, and a Hidetaka Tenjin-illustrated all-Raiden special box.
Raiden NOVA Revealed, Releasing for All Consoles in Japan Later This Year
Raiden NOVA will release on October 31 in Japan on all consoles. At the time of writing, it is currently unknown if the game will release in the West. MOSS will likely reveal more details in the coming months. Check out the first trailer below:

- Arcade Mode – An arcade-like mode in which the player advances through all six stages with the goal of defeating each stage’s boss.
- Unlimited Mode – A mode in which you can challenge your limits and choose any stage to see how long you can survive.
