In a recent Famitsu interview, HoYoverse teased that Zenless Zone Zero may release on the Nintendo Switch successor.
In Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.0, players will explore the main story from the perspective of Belle or Wise, a Proxy that helps unique characters explore dangerous regions known as Hollows. Players may unlock Chapter 2 – Interlude and Chapter 3 of the main story, marking the debut of officer Zhu Yuan and a revelation regarding Victoria Housekeeping. This content takes players further than what was previously accessible in the open betas.
Zenless Zone Zero Potentially Releasing for the New Nintendo Switch
In a new interview, Hoyoverse hinted at the release of Zenless Zone Zero for the Nintendo Switch successor. When producer Zhenyu Li was asked about the subject, he said the following:
“Currently our highest priority is increasing the quality regarding the platforms that we plan to work with. As we continue the development process, we think we will find the possibilities for this. Of course, there is an assumption it will be made into an excellent experience, and as a personal fan of Nintendo I will be very happy to see that become a reality.”
HoYoverse will likely reveal more details about whether or not the game will release on new hardware when the Nintendo Switch successor is revealed later this fiscal year. PlayStation Store describes Zenless Zone Zero as follows:
Don’t go into the Hollows. I know, I know, there’s Ether in the Hollows, bizarre creations, even heritage of the old civilization, all precious treasures. But don’t forget, there’s also spatial disorder, monsters and mutants running rampant, and ultimately, a disaster that could swallow the world. They are not a place where ordinary people should go.
So don’t go into Hollows. Or at least, don’t go in alone. If you insist on getting into danger, go to New Eridu first. This city where the good and the bad mix has many people who need the Hollows: Powerful wealthy tycoons, gangs that stalk the streets, conspiracy nuts, and ruthless officials.
Make your preparations there, find strong allies, and most importantly—Find a “Proxy”. Only they can guide people out of the maze-like Hollows. Good luck!
