During Anime Expo 2024, the staff of Shangri-La Frontier confirmed that season 2 will air on October 13. They also released a new promo video.
Katarina began the Shangri-La Frontier web novel series on the “Let’s Be Novelists” website in May 2017. Three years later, the manga adaptation by Ryosuke Fuji began in Weekly Shonen Magazine in July 2020. The anime premiered on October 1, 2023 as a two-cour series, with 13 episodes in the first cour and 12 episodes in the second cour.
Shangri-La Frontier Season 2 Confirms Premiere Date
The staff behind Shangri-La Frontier have officially revealed that season 2 will air on October 13. The season will likely be available on Crunchyroll when it airs in Fall 2024. The anime’s staff will confirm more details about the series in the coming weeks and months. Check out the new promo video below:
Good Smile Company will release a new Shangri-La Frontier Sunraku Nendoroid figure in Japan in August 2024 for ¥7,200. The company’s US shop will begin shipping the figure in Q1 2025 for $47.99. Those who pre-ordered the figure include a special “Critical” effect sheet for Sunraku. All Sunraku figures include a small Emul figure as well.
A total of 25 episodes for the first season of the Shangri-La Frontier anime series aired in two cours from October 2023 to March 2024. Fans outside of Japan may watch the Shangri-La Frontier anime on Crunchyroll. They describe the series as follows:
