NIS America and Falcom have released The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in the west. In addition, players may download The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak demo right now on the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop. The PS4 demo includes the game’s prologue and first chapter, while the Switch demo contains the prologue only. However, players on both platforms may transfer their save data to the full game. It’s worth noting that PS4 demo save data is compatible with the full PS5 version.
By playing the demo, players will get a head start on Van Arkride’s journey, which sees him accept a request from Aramis Academy student Agnés Claudel. This request becomes more than the two can handle alone, but many important allies will help them achieve their goals and peer into the underworld of Calvard. Moreover, the demo gives a taste of the new combat system, allowing the party to switch between action and turn-based combat.
