During Anime Expo 2024, Warner Bros. revealed a new trailer for Suicide Squad Isekai, highlighting its main antagonists. The first four episodes are available to watch on Max.
The Suicide Squad, or Task Force X as they’re sometimes called, are a beloved team of villains. The government gives these villains the task of saving the world. In exchange, the government gives them reduced prison sentences. However, unlike the traditional Justice League, their lives are expendable, hence their title. In the past decades, Warner Bros. has released two film adaptations, alongside a video game adaptation, and a TV show based on one member, Peacemaker, available on the Max streaming service. Further, NetherRealm Studios added Peacemaker to Mortal Kombat 1.
