Limited Run Games and Dragami Games announced a Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP physical edition will be released later this year. Pre-orders will open on July 26 at 10:00 a.m. EDT and close on August 25 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
The Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP physical edition will be sold for $49.99 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in the Limited Run Games Store. The estimated shipping date for the physical edition is set between December 1 and December 31 this year.
The upcoming title will feature a “RePOP” mode with a distinct and colorful pop art style for damage effects. Players may also choose to keep the game in Original Mode with its normal damage effects. The remaster also has shorter load times, auto-QTE options, various gameplay improvements, and a new streamer mode.
Moreover, the game features an expanded gallery feature and several new songs. On Nintendo Switch, the game will run at 1080p with 30 FPS support. Players can expect the game to run at 4K 60 FPS on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Players may choose between the original English voices or Japanese voices in Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. In addition, there will be a new Japanese voice actress for Juliet.
The in-game model for Juliet has not changed in the remaster. Instead, the model has been retextured, and the remaster uses CG technology to emphasize Juliet’s natural beauty.
The Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP’s character designs will continue to be drawn and completed by illustrator Nekoshowgun. She also designed Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP’s new loading screen visuals.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP launches on September 25 for $49.99 digitally on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
