Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3 Adds Firefly, New Events and More

HoYoverse announced that the Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3 “Farewell, Penacony” update will release on June 19, featuring playable characters Firefly and Jade, a new Divergent Universe area, new events, and more. This will be the final update for Penacony, with fans heading to the next destination on the Astral Express. 

The Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3 Trailblaze Mission sends the Astral Express crew to the Radiant Feldspar, a project within the Simulated Universe where the Family holds important discussions. Mr. Screwllum utilizes technology in the Radiant Feldspar for the Divergent Universe, including testing that removes character download limitations.

If a character’s level is below the current Equilibrium Level Cap for Divergent Universe, it will automatically increase to meet the cap. The Version 2.3 update also introduces the “Equation” feature, which combines buffs from two different Paths to grant combat abilities once a required amount is reached. Trailblazers can now restart challenges without needing to force-stop the game, thanks to the new Restart Challenge option.

In Version 2.3, a new mini-game will be available in the Radiant Feldspar. During the “Origami Bird Clash” event, players must achieve eliminations within a set number of moves to boost the birds’ Combat Power. Story challenges will also be available. 

Fire-type 5-star playable character Firefly joins the fray alongside Quantum-type 5-star character Jade. Ruan Mei and Argenti will also make their appearances in the Event Warps during the first and second halves of Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3 respectively.
