Kotobukiya and Nihon Falcom revealed updated prototypes for the officially licensed Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana scale figures of protagonists Adol Christin and Dana Iclucia. Pre-orders for the new Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana Adol Christin figure will open first on June 18.
Kotobukiya’s official Twitter account posted new product images for the new Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana scale figures, with the Adol Christin figure being nearly complete and mastered. The Kotobukiya Akihabara store in Japan will display the new 1/7 scale figure for a limited time.
The new 1/7 scale figure for Dana Iclucia was shown in a prototype stage. The prototype will be displayed for a limited time in the Kotobukiya Akihabara store as well. Kotobukiya encourages fans to pre-order the Adol figure and wait for more updates.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is available now for Nintendo Switch, PS Vita, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The PlayStation 5 version supports 4K resolution with 60 fps and 120 frames-per-second support at 1080p. In addition, a co-op mode is available in the Steam version.
The latest entry in the series, Ys X: Nordics, is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 with Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean language options. Ys X: Nordics is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC this fall in the west.
