Kadokawa confirmed that episode 1 of Re:ZERO Starting Life in Another World Season 3 will be a 90-minute special. The company also confirmed new cast members and revealed the anime’s theme song artists.
An advance theater screening run for Re:ZERO Starting Life in Another World Season 3 episode 1 will begin on August 30 and run for two weeks. The first episode is titled “Gekijō-gata Akui” (Theatrical Malice) and air for 90 minutes, which is the equivalent to four normal episodes. The weekly anime will premiere sometime in October.
Konomi Suzuki performs the opening theme song “Reweave” for Re:ZERO Starting Life in Another World Season 3. Sabō Karasuya wrote the lyrics, and Tom-H@ck is the composer. MYTH & ROID performs the ending theme song “NOX LUX.”
New cast members for the upcoming season include:
- Shōya Ishige as Joshua Juukulius
- Kōtarō Nishiyama as Kiritaka Muse
- Kenjirō Tsuda as Heinkel Astrea
- Chika Anzai as Sirius Romanée-Conti
