Octopath Traveler II Out Now for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

Another stealth launch from Square Enix.

Square Enix have released Octopath Traveler II for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows today, alongside the PlayStation release of Octopath Traveler. A bundle featuring both games is also available right now on Xbox and PlayStation platforms.

Octopath Traveler II costs $59.99 in the Microsoft Store. The Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II Bundle is available for $74.99, saving players exactly $44.99 on their purchase. Moreover, the original Octopath Traveler game is back on Xbox Game Pass, nearly a year and a half after it was removed in February 2023.

Before the game’s release on Xbox, an Octopath Traveler rating corroborated a report claiming that Octopath Traveler II could come to Xbox Series X|S this month. An announcement confirming the game’s addition to Xbox Game Pass appears very likely for Xbox Games Showcase, which is set for Sunday, June 9.

Octopath Traveler II is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Windows. The latest update adds an extra battle featuring the original Octopath Traveler party.
