Larian Studios has announced that Baldur’s Gate 3 will receive a modding tool in September. A closed alpha is available for select mod creators today.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a strategy RPG based around the worlds of the Dungeons and Dragons tabletop RPG. The game features a cast of unique characters in a story that has garnered critical acclaim, including winning the honor of Game of the Year 2023. It is available now on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Mac, and Xbox Series X|S.
Larian Studios Announces Modding Tool for Baldur’s Gate 3, Releasing in September
In a new Steam post, Larian Studios has announced that Baldur’s Gate 3 will be getting a modding tool in September 2024. Further, a closed alpha will be available for select mod creators starting today. In July, an open beta will be available. In the upcoming Patch 7, new evil endings will also be available. It’s worth noting that mod support will be available first on PC, then on Mac. It will then be available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
