SEGA and ATLUS have released a new “Daily Demon” video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, introducing the demon Halphas. This demon was previously featured in Soul Hackers 2.
The May 28 Daily Demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance introduced Nekomata, cats who have attained power and turned into yokai after living long lives. They are very intelligent and can understand human language. Some are believed to turn into people or even control the dead with their new powers.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Daily Demon Video – Halphas (Fallen)
Returning in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Halphas is one of the 72 demons of the Ars Goetia. He’s known as the Count of Death and Destruction, appearing as a black dove with blood-red eyes. Halphas is a craftsman and builds towers full of weapons.

Fans in Japan may look forward to ATLUS Fes, which will be held from June 8 to June 9 in Akihabara to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the company. The event will feature demos for both Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance and Metaphor: ReFantazio. Alongside the demos, attendees can expect merchandise sales, stage events, and exhibitions for the Persona series.
Sales of the original Shin Megami Tensei V for Nintendo Switch will cease on June 13, just one day before the launch of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. Sales of Shin Megami Tensei V’s DLC will also cease completely in the Nintendo eShop.
Lastly, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on June 14 worldwide.
