Bandai Namco Filmworks has revealed a new trailer for Zegapain STA, confirming that the film will premiere in Japanese theaters on August 16. The promo also confirms new cast members for the upcoming movie.
The Zegapain anime sequel was confirmed back in August 2023. It will depict the “Olta Moda Arc,” which follows after the events of Zegapain ADP. In Japan, Zegapain ADP received a compilation film to catch fans up to speed.

Bandai Namco Filmworks and Sunrise has revealed a new promo for Zegapain STA. The promo confirms that the film will air in theaters on August 16. Additionally, it confirms new members of the film’s cast. Takuma Terashima will play Giten, Yuka Terasaki will play Sefuto, Tomoyo Kurosawa will play Milch, Yui Ishikawa will play Basufōta, Natsuki Hanae will play Sid, Tomokazu Sugita will play Tōya, and Miyuri Shimabukuro will play Tsukuruna.

Kyo is a cheerful boy living in the suburbs of Maihara in Chiba. He’s a normal high school student whose life is busy with the swim team, friends, and romance. But one day a mysterious transfer student named Sizuno suddenly appears and guides him into another world — a world of giant robots and the conflicts he must become a part of. The more battles he survives, the more questions he is consumed by, but Kyo must fight through his anguish and commit himself to combat to save himself and his friends.
