    Street Fighter 6 revealed the patch notes for the now-available update 202405 on the game’s website. This patch is the biggest yet for SF6, containing many changes for all characters and system mechanics. Some of the changes were shown previously, but now players can see what’s new for the game.

    One of the patch’s brand new changes is that all characters can now use drive reversal on wakeup. This adds another defensive layer for players to learn how to play against. Both this patch and Akuma are now playable. Moreover, each of the Year 1 DLC characters got their Outfit 3 costumes. There are also new challenger screen customizations that players can select from and a jukebox

    Furthermore, EVO 2024 will be having a Street Fighter 6 tournament from July 19 to July 21. All of the Year 1 characters for SF6 will have been released since then, so stay tuned for more information on new potential characters to be announced at EVO 2024.

Additionally, the Street Fighter League (SFL): Pro-JP 2024 welcomes three new teams-Crazy Racoon, FUKUSHIMA IBUSHIGIN, and Yogibo REJECT. With twelve teams competing, it’s the biggest season yet. The SFL JP 2024 season starts in July.

    Street Fighter 6, launched globally on June 2, 2023, evolves the franchise with its proprietary RE ENGINE. The game offers three main modes: World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub. World Tour mode allows for a single-player adventure in Metro City, while the Battle Hub offers a social space for player interaction and competition. Fighting Ground is where players can experience arcade mode, training mode, ranked matches, and more.

    Moreover, players can experience a new level of combat with options for Classic, Modern, and Dynamic controls, and a new Drive Gauge system.

    Additionally, SF6 features a diverse roster of 18 characters, including classics and new faces, each with updated designs and dynamic cinematic specials. Capcom plans to add more new characters to the game so stay tuned for more announcements.
