Street Fighter 6 Teases That M. Bison Could Be Alive in New Quest

    He's alive?!

Capcom teased that M. Bison might be alive in the latest quest added to Street Fighter 6. This quest is newly added with the Akuma patch, where many changes to the game have been made.

According to Street Fighter 6 player NezsKillerQueen, there are some in-game notes about Bison’s revival. A new Metro City quest that involves the player sneaking into the Shadaloo Base has confidential documents lying all over the floor. Keywords such as “Resurrected Bison” appear throughout the papers, hinting that he was revived from Street Fighter 5. Shadaloo troops searched for Bison and ran into a man “riding a horse, imbued with purple aura”. With an extra description of having white hair and tattered clothes, it lines up a lot with how M. Bison looks. Not much is known of what happened to the search team afterward, but if they did meet Bison, his motives are unknown.

Yesterday, Street Fighter 6 director Takayuki Nakayama revealed that there will be some unexpected characters for Season 2’s DLC. It was seen in Street Fighter 5 that Ryu defeated M. Bison, but it could be possible that the developers are trying to surprise fans with his return.

Street Fighter 6, launched globally on June 2, 2023, evolves the franchise with its proprietary RE ENGINE. The game offers three main modes: World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub. World Tour mode allows for a single-player adventure in Metro City, while the Battle Hub offers a social space for player interaction and competition. Fighting Ground is where players can experience arcade mode, training mode, ranked matches, and more.

Moreover, players can experience a new level of combat with options for Classic, Modern, and Dynamic controls, and a new Drive Gauge system.

Additionally, SF6 features a diverse roster of 18 characters, including classics and new faces, each with updated designs and dynamic cinematic specials. Capcom plans to add more new characters to the game so stay tuned for more announcements.

Lastly, Street Fighter 6 is available now on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC via Steam, and Xbox Series X|S.
