Genshin Impact is Finally Increasing the Original Resin Cap

    At long last!

    Published:

HoYoverse shared new details about upcoming optimizations for Genshin Impact Version 4.7, revealing that the original resin cap will finally be increased. The update will also bring several quality-of-life improvements.

Genshin Impact Version 4.6 released on April 24, marking the debut of playable character Arlecchino. The update also introduced a new underwater area and another Arataki Itto limited-time event back in Inazuma. Version 4.7 will release this June, and HoYoverse already revealed new details regarding the update.

Genshin Impact Version 4.7 Increases Cap for Original Resin, Ingredients, and Friends

According to the Genshin Impact developers, the original resin cap will be increased to 200 in Version 4.7. This means that players can craft five Resin at once and grind more materials every day.

Moreover, the limits for Forging Ores, Character EXP Materials, and Artifact Enhancement Materials will be increased in Version 4.7. The limit for Ingredients will be increased from 2,000 to 9,999, ensuring that players won’t need to destroy excess materials. Genshin Impact’s friends cap will also be increased in the upcoming update. Going forward in Version 4.7, players may add up to 100 friends in the game.

Genshin Impact will also receive a “Recommended Stats” option for the Fast Equip Artifacts feature. By using this new option, players may automatically fill in recommended sets and attributes based on data from active players in the game. This feature will be adjusted in future updates, according to the latest HoYoLab post

HoYoverse plans on sharing more details about Version 4.7 at a later date. A Version 4.7 Special Program will likely air near the end of May or beginning of June, with the update actually launching in mid-June at the latest.

Lastly, Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is currently in development, but a release date has not been announced yet.
