    Sea of Stars Physical Edition Available Now

    Iam8bit have announced that the physical edition of Sea of Stars is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and the Nintendo Switch. The exclusive edition costs $44.99, while the retail edition costs $39.99.

    Sea of Stars is a new turn-based RPG inspired by classic Japanese RPGs from the 90s. Examples include Xenogears, Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy. Xenoblade Chronicles series composer Yasunori Mitsuda contributed to the stellar soundtrack of Sea of Stars. The game sold 100,000 copies on launch day. It sold several more copies in the subsequent six days. Iam8bit initially announced the physical edition in February.

    Sabotage Studio and Iam8bit has revealed that the Sea of Stars exclusive physical edition is available now. The retail version is priced at $39.99 features a double-sided poster with art from concept artist and illustrator Bryce Kho. The exclusive Iam8bit edition, which costs $44.99, includes a retro-inspired game manual, collectible slipcase, collectible poster featuring original art and oversized game map, digital download of the game soundtrack and 16 character stickers.     Sea of Stars is a day one title for PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, so downloads do not count toward sales. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members may redeem and download the game right now at no additional cost. The game is available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 digitally. 

    The story of the game is described as follows: “Sea of Stars is a turn-based RPG inspired by the classics. It tells the story of two Children of the Solstice who will combine the powers of the sun and moon to perform Eclipse Magic, the only force capable of fending off the monstrous creations of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer.”

    Finally, Sea of Stars is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. For those eager to give the game a try, a demo is available now on PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
