The June issue of Shueisha’s Saikyō Jump magazine confirmed that they will be launching a spin-off manga of Kaiju No. 8, titled Kaiju No. 8 Relax. The spin-off manga will release on June 4.
The Kaiju No. 8 manga by Naoya Matsumoto entered serialization in Manga Plus in 2020, and it’s still ongoing with a cult following backing its success. Ahead of Jump Festa 2024, the anime’s staff revealed a new key visual for Kaiju No. 8, with the promise of more information on the horizon. In February, they also revealed the series’ April release date. It is available to watch now on Crunchyroll.
Kaiju No. 8 Relax Spin-Off Manga Confirmed, Releasing on June 4
The most recent issue of Shueisha’s Saikyō Jump issue confirmed that Kaiju No. 8 would be receiving a manga spin-off. Kizuku Watanabe will write the manga, titled Kaiju No. 8 Relax. The story and characters of the upcoming manga are currently unknown. The creators of the series will likely reveal more in the coming weeks and months:
