In One Piece Odyssey, players take control of each member of the Straw Hat Crew in exploration or immersive turn-based command battle, as they cross path with an incredible storm leaving them astray on the strange, mysterious island of Waford, while the Thousand Sunny is almost sunk and left in tatters.
While exploring the island and its ancient ruins, they meet Adio and Lim, two inhabitants of Waford.
After being deprived of their strengths by the mysterious power of Lim, a new daring journey begins for the crew, with new characters and monsters designed by Eiichiro Oda as well as an original storyline intertwined with memories of their past adventures.
Defeat new enemies, unravel ancient mysteries, and experience pure adventure with your favorite Straw Hat Crew member!
Players can step into the shoes, sandals, and hooves of Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, and Brook!
The Nintendo Switch version of One Piece Odyssey includes the Reunion of Memories Additional Scenario that can be played after clearing the main game.
Through these new quests and the main game, revive the most iconic moments of One Piece and meet again with characters such as Ace, Lucci, Mihawk, Eneru, and Whitebeard in the world of their memories.
On top of that, the Traveling outfits for the Straw Hats Crew, the Sniper King’s Traveling Outfit and the Nintendo Switch exclusive City of Water outfits will be included in this version of the game!

In other One Piece news, creator Eiichiro Oda put the One Piece manga on a brief hiatus after the death of Akira Toriyama. Oda confirms that he’s not ill, but he planned to undergo “maintenance” on himself and mourn Toriyama’s passing. The One Piece manga will go on hiatus from the April 1 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump to the April 22-due issue.

The One Piece anime is unaffected by the manga’s hiatus. New episodes of One Piece air on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. JST on Fuji TV in Japan. Crunchyroll is simulcasting the One Piece anime on Saturdays at around 10:00 p.m. EDT with Japanese audio and English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese subtitles. Moreover, Crunchyroll periodically releases batches of episodes with the English dub.

Lastly, One Piece Odyssey is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
