Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Daily Demon Video Introduces Amabie

    An all-new demon appears.

    SEGA and ATLUS have released a new “Daily Demon” video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, introducing the demon Amabie. This is an all-new demon making their debut in the upcoming title.

    The previous Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Daily Demon video introduced Peallaidh, a Scottish fairy that’s half-man and half-beast. Peallaidh usually live near waterfronts, and it will often seek human companionship during the night. The demon’s skill, Entangling Tendrils, can lower Attack on all enemies and potentially inflict Seal.

    The latest Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Daily Demon video introduces Amabie (Enigma), a Japanese yokai that appeared in Higo Province during the Edo period. It’s believed that it emerged from the glowing sea and shared prophecies with the people.

    Additionally, a Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance “premium play experience” demo event will be held from May 3 to 4 in Japan. Attendees may play up to six hours of the game’s new scenario. Applications for players in Japan were available until March 31 at 23:59 JST.

    Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on June 14 worldwide. The game is available to pre-order now digitally for in the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam for $59.99. In addition, physical pre-orders are available now at participating retailers.

    Lastly, the Digital Deluxe Edition is available to pre-order right now for $69.99 featuring Mitama Dance of Wealth, Mitama Dance of EXP, Mitama Dance of Miracles, Sakura Cinders of the East, and Holy Will and Profane Dissent. As previously announced, the Sakura Cinders of the East DLC includes Konohana Sakuya, and the Holy Will and Profane Dissent DLC features Dagda from Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse
