Anime Expo announced that Nihon Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo will be attending Anime Expo 2024 as a guest of honor.
“From fan site creator to Nihon Falcom’s president, Toshihiro Kondo embodies passion and dedication in gaming,” said the official Anime Expo Twitter account. ” His leadership in developing the Ys & The Legend of Heroes series not only shapes Falcom but also inspires and nurtures new talent.”
NIS America also confirms that the company will be attending Anime Expo 2024 alongside Toshihiro Kondo, and it will share more information soon.

Falcom fans have plenty to look forward to in 2024. The first of Falcom’s new games is The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria-. Another Trails game is currently in development alongside various unannounced titles. The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak and Tokyo Xanadu eX+ are also coming to Nintendo Switch in the west.
This past March, Nihon Falcom finally announced Tokyo Xanadu New Project, a new game that celebrates the 10th anniversary of the series. The title was previously teased as “Tokyo Xanadu K” in the physical Nintendo Switch re-release of Tokyo Xanadu eX+ in Japan. Platforms for the new title were not announced yet, but the title is expected to release in 2025.
