Stellar Blade Releases New Vignette for Squad Leader Tachy

The leader of the 7th Airborne Squad.

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Shift Up released a new vignette for Stellar Blade character Tachy, the leader of the 7th Airborne Squad. She’s a decorated soldier with expertise in tactical and survival skills.

The new Stellar Blade demo includes content up to the game’s first boss in the first section. Save data from the demo transfers into the full game, allowing players to continue from where they left off with EVE. Before diving into the demo, fans can watch the recent EVE vignette and see what Tachy is all about in the latest vignette below.

Tachy Stars in Latest Stellar Blade Vignette

EVE fights alongside Tachy in Stellar Blade, and the latest vignette highlights some of their coordinated attacks together. Wielding a large katana-like blade, Tachy is able to hold her own in combat while supporting EVE.

The full game and demo supports Korean, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Latin Spanish voice overs. In addition, Stellar Blade supports Korean, English (US), French, Italian, German, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Arabic, Turkish, Thai, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese text options.

Stellar Blade is developed by SHIFT UP and directed by CEO Kim Hyung Tae. The new action game was inspired by NieR: Automata and Bayonetta, with a strong emphasis on a single-player story and intricate combo system. Pre-orders for Stellar Blade went live on February 7, just one week after January 31 State of Play.

Moreover, SHIFT UP is hiring for a new project coming to consoles, PC, and mobile platforms. The new project will be a “next-gen AAA urban science-fiction action RPG” developed in Unreal Engine 5.

Lastly, Stellar Blade launches on April 26, exclusively for PlayStation 5. A PC version was not announced. Stellar Blade will be sold physically and digitally worldwide, thanks to PlayStation’s second-party agreement as publisher of the new action game.
