Shueisha has announced that the Captain Tsubasa: Rising Sun manga will be continuing in storyboard form. The new arc, titled Captain Tsubasa: Rising Sun Finals, will be available on the new Captain Tsubasa World website.
The original Captain Tsubasa manga was initially published in 1986. The series focuses on 11-year-old Tsubasa Ōzora, a talented soccer player who dreams of competing in the World Cup. Viz Media originally premiered the recent Captain Tsubasa anime from 2018 to 2019. Junior Youth Arc is the second season of the famed anime. It initially premiered in October 2023. The season’s third cour will begin soon.
Captain Tsubasa: Rising Sun Manga Continuing With New Arc, Will Be in Storyboard Form
According to a recent announcement from Shueisha, Captain Tsubasa: Rising Sun will continue in a new arc. The new arc, titled Captain Tsubasa: Rising Sun Finals, will be in storyboard mode and will be available on the new Captain Tsubasa World website. The 20th and final volume of Captain Tsubasa: Rising Sun will release on June 4. The announcement comes a few months after the series’ creator, Youichi Takahashi, announced his retirement from the manga.
