    Street Fighter 6 Showcases Monster Hunter’s 20th Anniversary Collaboration Content in New Trailer

    A giant collaboration!

    In a trailer released today, Street Fighter 6 revealed what content players can look forward to in the new Monster Hunter collaboration. Starting in April, players can get the Rathalos Armor avatar outfit, emotes, and many more. Additionally, the Battle Hub will be redesigned for the event.

    Capcom teased the Monster Hunter collaboration last month, leaving many fans excited about what’s to come. After the success of previous collaborations, Capcom is considering doing more. This collaboration celebrates a massive milestone for the Monster Hunter franchise. Having said that, here are the details of what players can expect from it.

    Street Fighter 6 x Monster Hunter – A Brand New Collaboration

    Starting April 1, players can immerse themselves in the special event, complete with Monster Hunter-themed avatar gear, emotes, and titles. These items are accessible through the new Fighting Pass. Along with the redesigned Battle Hub, the photo booth will feature the menacing Rathalos and Rathian. Moreover, the update introduces the classic arcade game Magic Sword to the Battle Hub Game Center as an unlockable premium reward. 

    Furthermore, April marks the birthdays of Kimberly and JP. Players will be able to get drive tickets and bonus kudos. There will also be character-specific tournaments for JP and Kimberly, so look forward to participating in those.

    Celebrating its 20th anniversary in March 2024, the Monster Hunter series consists of hunting action games that pit players against giant monsters in beautiful natural environments. Beginning with the first title in 2004, the series established a new genre in which players cooperate to hunt ferocious monsters with their friends and has since grown into a global phenomenon with cumulative sales of the series exceeding 97 million units as of December 31, 2023.

    Moreover, Capcom is also celebrating the franchise’s anniversary by having the Monster Hunter Stories games release on new platforms.  On June 14, Monster Hunter Stories hits Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Its sequel, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, joins PlayStation 4 the same day.

    Street Fighter 6 is available now on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC via Steam, and Xbox Series X|S.
