A physical and digital Monster Hunter Stories Collection will be available on June 14 as well for Nintendo Switch.

Initially released in 2016 on the 3DS, the Monster Hunter Stories remaster brings new content. It introduces full Japanese and English voiceovers, seven new subtitle languages, and a Museum Mode. This mode showcases over 200 pieces of concept art, music, and sketches. Capcom states that enhanced graphics and lighting bring the series to life in high definition.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin offers a fresh journey where players can explore a vast world, uncovering ancient secrets. The story follows a young Rider who can form bonds with monsters, known as Monsties, and use them in turn-based battles. The protagonist assists Ena, a Wyverian girl who entrusts the player with an egg predicted to hatch a Rathalos capable of causing destruction. Together, they embark on a quest to uncover the mysteries of ancient legends, test the strength of their bonds with Monsties, and prevent a looming catastrophe.
