Monster Hunter Stories Collection Includes a Download Voucher

Physical pre-orders for Monster Hunter Stories Collection are now live at GameStop, and the Switch box art features a download disclaimer. Monster Hunter Stories is included on the Switch game cart, while Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is available in a download voucher.

Digital pre-orders for both titles will launch soon. Bonuses include special outfits for Navirou in Monster Hunter Stories. Players also receive Ena’s Kamura Maiden outfit in Wings of Ruin.

Initially released in 2016 on the Nintendo 3DS, the Monster Hunter Stories remaster brings new content,  full Japanese and English voiceovers, seven new subtitle languages, and a Museum Mode. This mode showcases over 200 pieces of concept art, music, and sketches. Capcom states that enhanced graphics and lighting bring the series to life in high definition.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin offers a fresh journey where players can explore a vast world, uncovering ancient secrets. The story follows a young Rider who can form bonds with monsters, known as Monsties, and use them in turn-based battles. The protagonist assists Ena, a Wyverian girl who entrusts the player with an egg predicted to hatch a Rathalos capable of causing destruction. Together, they embark on a quest to uncover the mysteries of ancient legends, test the strength of their bonds with Monsties, and prevent a looming catastrophe.
