The official website for the upcoming Highspeed Étoile anime has revealed that the series will premiere on April 5. They’ve also released a new promo that showcases the anime’s opening and ending themes.
Highspeed Étoile is an anime that takes place in the near future. In the world of the series, the latest technology has made it so vehicles can travel at 500 km/h (about 310 mph) safely and securely. As such, someone has created a new event called the NEX Race. The race features AI control support and a “Revolburst” mechanism. In January, the series’ staff revealed the opening and ending artists. Now, they have showcased the themes in a new promo, alongside confirming the anime’s premiere date.
Highspeed Étoile Set for Early April Premiere, New Promo Revealed
The official promo for the upcoming Highspeed Étoile anime fully showcased the series’ opening and ending themes. Nana Mizuki, the voice of Alice Summerwood in the series, will perform the opening, “ADRENALIZED.” The band SCANDAL will perform the ending theme song, “Fanfare.” The promo also confirms that the anime will premiere on April 5. HIGHSPEED Étoile is set in the near future where the world has ostensibly become more environmentally conscious, safe, and secure through the use of technology. Within this setting, Rin Rindoh challenges the “NEX Race,” the next generation of motorsport racing where racers, with the help of onboard AI, can achieve speeds of up to 500 kilometers per hour and can snatch victory from behind through the use of “Revolve Burst”. After giving up her dream of becoming a ballerina and moving in with her grandmother, Rin is thrust into this new high-speed world.
Lastly, Highspeed Étoile will air on April 5, 2024. The series’ Western distributor is currently unknown.
