    SaGa Emerald Beyond Trailer Introduces Protagonist Siugnas

    An immortal vampire is found in the afterlife.

    Square Enix revealed new details about SaGa Emerald Beyond protagonist Siugnas in a dedicated trailer. This intriguing vampire is one of six playable protagonists in the upcoming SaGa title. 

    This past December, Square Enix recently held the SaGa Glimmerfest 2023 livestream as a celebration of the SaGa franchise’s 35th anniversary. Exciting updates about SaGa Emerald Beyond and Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe were shared by the development team. One by one, the protagonists of the new RPG are being revealed as the April 25 launch approaches. 

    Siugnas Seeks to Reclaim His Power in SaGa Emerald Beyond

    Siugnas is an immortal vampire and the Dismal King of Yomi, a world of darkness in SaGa Emerald Beyond. Despite his immortality, he ends up in Brighthome, the world of fallen warriors, after being betrayed. Unsurprisingly, he wonders how an immortal being could end up in the world of the dead. After regaining his footing, Siugnas decides to rally forces in order to regain his abilities.

    An immortal vampire and the Dismal King who rules Yomi, a world shrouded in darkness.

    After being removed from his throne by someone or something’s betrayal, he awakes to find himself in Brighthome, a world where fallen warriors gather. He is recruited into the king’s band of warriors called the Generals and sent to fight in a chaotic battle against invaders. But how did he, an immortal, end up in a world where only the dead can go? Together with fellow members of the generals, he begins a journey to regain his abilities as the Dismal King.

    Lastly, SaGa Emerald Beyond launches on April 25, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, iOS, Android, and PC via Steam.
