Bandai Namco released a new trailer for Dimps-developed large-scale multiplayer game Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream. The Sword Art Online game is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2024.
Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris previously served as the “culmination” of the game series, but a new chapter begins in Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream. In this new game, a new system is added to Alfheim Online, but a severe error causes all worlds and timelines to collide. This situation creates a new setting for Kirito and the other players, as departed characters return and new factions are forged.

Before the game’s launch, Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream closed beta test will be held from March 11 to March 17. Players will be able to try out some of the game’s content, which includes up to 20-player online missions. Registration for the closed beta test closed on March 4.
