UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes has unveiled the patch notes for version 1.03. This news comes from Arc System Works’s official X/Twitter account.
In the earlier months, UNDER NIGHT was announced to be at EVO and EVO Japan for 2024. As a result, the developers have been patching the game, improving its performance. The 1.03 update was applied to the game on March 1, but now we have detailed notes for what changed.
1.03 Patch Notes for UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes
The patch notes for version 1.03 of UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes has officially released. The Steam and PS4/PS5 versions have updates focusing on bug fixes. Nanase, Yuziriha, and Eltnum were the three characters noted to have issues with their attacks. The GRD gauge was also fixed, addressing a bug where the opponent’s GRD gauge will increase more than intended when Steer Ender hits.
Additionally, the developers updated UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes‘s battle system. There was an issue where Creeping Edge would trigger instead of throw when inputting 3+A+D (Read here to learn about fighting game numpad notation). However, this update was only performed on the PS4, PS5, and Steam versions. The developers noted that they are preparing an update for the Switch version, so stay tuned. Until then, you can expect more issues to be investigated and addressed as time goes on.
