    Unicorn Overlord Featured on the March 21 Famitsu Issue

    Weekly Famitsu confirm that its March 21, 2024 issue will feature a cover story for ATLUS and Vanillaware’s tactical fantasy RPG Unicorn Overlord. The new issue will release on Thursday, March 7 (JST), just one day before the game’s launch. 

    Vanillaware fans will soon experience the “rebirth” of tactical fantasy RPGs in Unicorn Overlord. Alain, protagonist and prince of Cornia, is chosen to lead the Liberation Army and return peace to Fevrith. Before launch on March 8, fans may learn more about Unicorn Overlord in the latest Famitsu issue.

    Unicorn Overlord Famitsu Issue and Features

    The March 21 issue of Famitsu will feature developer interviews with Unicorn Overlord director Takafumi Noma, lead planner Wataru Nakanishi and Atlus producer Akiyasu Yamamoto. The new issue comes with a B5 size card appendix featuring the original illustration shown on the magazine’s cover, which was illustrated by Noma. Pre-orders for the new Famitsu issue are available now on Amazon (non-affiliate link).

    RPG fans who enjoyed the music from the trailer may look forward to the Unicorn Overlord original soundtrack, which releases on March 8 in Japan. The soundtrack includes a 4-CD set, which includes the opening and ending theme songs. Mitsuhiro Kaneda and Basiscape are composing the soundtrack for Unicorn Overlord. What’s more, the Unicorn Overlord original soundtrack cover art is drawn by Vanillaware illustrator Emika Kida.
