ATLUS and Vanillaware announced 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim surpassed a grand total of one million copies sold. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is one of Vanillaware’s most successful titles, and fans in Japan who haven’t played the game have the opportunity to buy it at a discounted price.
Last year, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim finally made its debut on Nintendo Switch. Sales of the title increased drastically in the past 12 months following its Nintendo Switch release. Nearly 4 years after the original PlayStation 4 release, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is now a million-seller.
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Sales Update
One million copies of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim have been sold as of August 31, 2023. The latest sales figure includes physical shipments and digital copies sold for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Roughly 200,000 copies have been sold since the prior sales update on November 28, 2022. ATLUS and Vanillaware appreciate the support from fans over the past four years, and new artwork by illustrator Yukiko Hirai was released.
To commemorate the sales milestone, the digital version of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will be available with a 50% discount until September 26 in Japan. The discount will be available in the Japanese Nintendo eShop. A discount for the U.S. Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store has not been announced, however.
