HoYoverse announced Genshin Impact Version 4.5 “Blades Weaving Betwixt Brocade” will release on March 13 featuring new playable character Chiori, new limited-time events, and so much more. Players will also return to Mondstadt to help out the Knights of Favonius.

Genshin Impact Version 4.5 Details
The Genshin Impact Version 4.5 “Blades Weaving Betwixt Brocade” sees players return to Mondstadt and help Jean, Lisa, and the Knights of Favonius develop the local alchemical potion business in the “Alchemical Ascension” seasonal event. Players are in control of the production process, including cultivating ingredients, making potions, and selling completed products. The scale of the business may be expanded by making deals and purchasing more facilities and exquisite potion bottles.
Event rewards include the exclusive 4-star polearm “Dialogues of the Desert Sages.” Players may also earn rewards by playing with the cats in “Feline Fortress Furrdyssey” and engage in cannon-firing gameplay in the “Rolling Crossfire” event.
Additionally, Chiori will be available as a new playable 5-star Geo sword wielder. She is an Inazuman fashion designer and owner of the Chioriya Boutique in Fontaine. In combat, she can summon an automaton doll named Tamoto to deal damage based on her defense and attack stats. If a Geo Construct is nearby, an additional Tamoto may be summoned. Her Elemental Burst is capable of dealing AoE Geo damage as well.
Chiori and Arataki Itto will be featured in the first phase of Genshin Impact Version 4.5, followed by Neuvillette and Kaedehara Kazuha in the second phase. In addition, a new “Chronicled Wish” will be available for the first time featuring Albedo, Eula, Mona, Klee, Diluc, Jean, and several 5-star weapons in the same wish. Players can chart a course towards their desired 5-star character or weapon.
