Ahead of the Version 2.0 launch, HoYoverse announced space-fantasy turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail surpassed 100 million downloads worldwide. Apple Vision Pro support is confirmed for Honkai: Star Rail as well, giving fans another way to play the game.
After the events of Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6, the Astral Express crew receives an invitation from The Family to visit Penacony in Version 2.0 “If One Dreams At Midnight.” Several new characters will be able to join the Astral Express Crew on this new journey, and players can also expect several new events to be held. Before the update launches, HoYoverse celebrates the 100 million downloads milestone with fans around the world.
Honkai: Star Rail – 100 Million Downloads, Apple Vision Pro Support, and More
Honkai: Star Rail surpassed 100 million downloads across PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android within the past ten months following the initial launch on April 26, 2023. To celebrate the milestone and upcoming release of Version 2.0, HoYoverse announced the game will support Apple Vision Pro devices. Players will be able to explore Honkai: Star Rail whole taking advantage of the Apple device’s spatial computing device. More details will be revealed soon at HoYoverse’s official FAQ, so stay tuned.
The Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0 Launch Show will begin today, February 5, at 5:00 p.m. PST. Fans can expect news, interviews, musical performances, and theatre with a nostalgia-inducing aesthetic inspired by Penacony.
This past weekend on February 4, Honkai: Star Rail took over the renowned Las Vegas Sphere. The Las Vegas Sphere featured exclusive redeem code, VEGASHSR, during the limited-time event. Honkai: Star Rail fans could also join the conversation online by using the hashtags #VegasHSR, #DiveIntoDreams, and #HonkaiStarRail on Twitter.
