Fate/Extra CCC Manga Ending With 8th Volume

    Published:

The Fate/EXTRA CCC manga is prepared to end with its 8th volume. The manga is an adaptation of the Fate/EXTRA CCC game. Illustrated and written by Robi~na, this adaptation began serialization in Comptiq in June 2015.

A description of the manga can be found below via MAL:

“The series is set on the Far Side of the Moon Cell, where BB used her abilities to create the Sakura Labyrinth. She brought over various Masters and Servants from the Moon Cell Holy Grail War on the Near Side, some taken instantly before their deletion and others brought during the sixth week.”

Although it is disappointing to see the series end, there are plenty of other Type-Moon products to be excited about. Aniplex and Type-Moon recently announced Fate/stay night Remastered, which is set to release with English support sometime in 2024. This remaster is of Fate/stay night Réalta Nua, which is a release based on the PlayStation 2 version of the game. In this version, adult content was removed, and the three separate routes were split between three separate episodes instead of one main title. In addition to this release, a localization of Tsukihime -A Piece of Blue Glass Moon- is set to release in the West sometime during the Summer of 2024.

Multiple anime projects are also in the works. An anime film based on Witch on the Holy Night is set to premiere in the future. A second trailer was released on New Year’s Eve, but a release date or staff has yet to be confirmed with this new trailer. It’s yet to be seen if this project will end up being multiple films or just one, but based on the source material, it seems likely at least one more film will follow the first.
